New England North West ACC's mission is to provide leadership
in regional and economic development, liaise with partners
to strengthen working relationships, and assist in identifying
and pursuing opportunities of benefit to the region.

What
is an Area Consultative Committee?
A national
network of 56 Area Consultative Committees (ACCs) make up
the Australian Government's regional development network.

ACCs
provide a link between the Australian Government, business
and the community. As volunteer community based organisations,
ACCs are uniquely placed to repond to issues in their regions
and provide a vital conduit to Government on local, social
and economic conditions.
Activities
The ACCs
primary role is to facilitate funding applications under
the Regional Partnerships funding
program. The New England North West ACC also provides
links to other Australian Government initiatives.
New England North West ACC Staff Members
The New
England North West ACC staff provide a local point of contact
for businesses and community members who want to access
Australian Government funding, programs and initiatives.
New
England North West ACC Board
The
Board represents the communities of the New England North
West, and provides leadership and strategies for viable and
sustainable economic and social development. The ACC staff
are guided by the vision of the Board in developing key opportunities
for growth in the region.
