What is an Area Consultative Committee?
A national network of 56 Area Consultative Committees (ACCs) make up the Australian Government's regional development network.

ACCs provide a link between the Australian Government, business and the community. As volunteer community based organisations, ACCs are uniquely placed to repond to issues in their regions and provide a vital conduit to Government on local, social and economic conditions.

Activities
The ACCs primary role is to facilitate funding applications under the Regional Partnerships funding program. The New England North West ACC also provides links to other Australian Government initiatives.
